What cause different window film colors?
If you want to know, we need to track back to the process of window film manufacturing, which there are 4 main processes in Thailand.
- Color Coating Film
Blending the color with the adhesive and coat on the film surface only, making this type of film unable to reject heat and low durability - Deep Dyeing Film (Deep Dyeing Film)
This type of film is similar to Color Coating film above but it use Deep Dyeing process to dye the color into the film layer, making the film be more durable than color coating film which it will help to support UV protection feature very well. - Thermal Evaporation Film
Infusing with heat rejection substances by evaporating metal or non-metal in the chamber under high temperature by its boiling point. Once this heat rejection substance e.g. aluminium, titanium, silver and so on change from solid to vapor stream, it will traverses to coat on the film material. - Magnetron Sputtering Coating
The use of Sputtering or propulsion of electron charge under magnetic field into heat rejection particles in atomic level so, it breaks into small nano-level particles, spreading by the push of high electrical energy. Then, these nano-particles of ceramic infuse or coat on the film surface evenly.
