Tips about solar energy

 Solar energy is consisted of 3 radiations which are 53% infrared, 3% ultraviolet and 44% light. The heat occurs from the combination between infrared and light. The infrared is a part of solar energy, you cannot see it but you can feel it from the heat
               
        

1. Ultraviolet A (UVA)
   : UV with a wavelength  320 - 400 nm , in the UV will contain UVA up to 95% which can be easily pass through glass and penetrate to our skin. This UVA also can suppress immune system, leading to premature aging, wrinkle, dark spots and can also lead to development of skin cancer
2. Ultraviolet B (UVB)
   : UV with a wavelength  290-320 nm , in the sunlight will contain around 5% UVB which normally it cannot pass through the glass but if you stay outside , it can cause you sunburn  
3. Ultraviolet C (UVC)
   : UV with a wavelength  100-290 nm, normally get absorbed by the atmosphere (filtered since ozone layer)but now because of global climate change, the ozone layer is thinner and may cause this UVC to penetrate more on the earth

  For the test of heat reduction (% of infrared reduction combine with % of heat reduction from the light) should be measured directly from the sunlight for more accurate result than measuring from spotlight due to totally different heat origin. 1. To summarize how you consider the % of heat reduction before film selection, it must be % of heat reduction from the overall sunlight not only the infrared or spotlight

2. Heat reduction percentage should be according to ASHRAE and AIMCAL standard, not setting   up by the publisher randomly
